Typical Brits - Guy Fawkes Night is a celebration of a failure! Celebrate the failure of one Guido Fawkes to blow up our Houses of Parliament with these colouring pictures.

Sometimes called Bonfire Night or Fireworks Night, it is celebrated on or around the fifth of November.

Please remember to Always Follow the Fireworks Code. (Colouring is a much safer way to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night anyway!) You can find a printable version of the firework code below to remind you.

These printables are free for personal and educational use only. They are not to be copied, reproduced, sold or distributed for commercial purposes without prior permission of eParenting.

Penny for the Guy

Another popular tradition for Guy Fawkes night is to make a "Guy", usually made from old clothes stuffed with paper or rags. Until a few years ago, for a couple of days before Bonfire night children used to sit outside with their guy asking passers-by for a penny to buy fireworks.

On Guy Fawkes night itself the guy would be burned on top of the bonfire.
