The 80th Anniversary of Victory in Japan, VJ Day will be celebrated on Friday 15th August 2025. Victory in Japan Day recognises the day when Japan surrendered, marking the end of WWII.
Events will be low-key compared with the celebrations of the VE Day anniversary earlier in 2025, however there are a number of commemoration events planned for this day.
