International Day for Tolerance 2026

The International Day for Tolerance is held on 16th November each year.
It was created by the UN to generate public awareness of the dangers of intolerance. Every year various conferences and festivals are organized in the occasion of International Day for Tolerance.
The main areas that are focused on are:-
- Creating a culture of Peace and Non-violence
- Promoting Democracy and Global Citizenship
- Fostering Rights, Inclusion and Non-Discrimination
- Supporting education
- Reinforcing Freedom of Expression
