As the holiday season approaches, the stress and strains associated with family travel can beleaguer even the most experienced of parents. But a new English-designed luggage concept created especially for ‘little people’ is set to get toddlers globetrotting in stress-free style this summer.Meet the family Trunki – the perfect companions for travelling tots!
Boredom becomes a thing of the past with Terrance and Trixie, the first award winning Trunki creations from independent design company Magmatic. Innovatively designed to put the fun back in to family travel, toddler’s can ‘Pack, Carry & Ride’ their Trunki’s whilst parents can keep the ‘kids in tow’ this summer – literally.Trunki’s award-winning luggage design was created by Rob Law, who won a Princes Trust Business Start-up Award in 2003.
The only ‘ride-on’ children’s suitcase on the market, Terrance and Trixie are crafted in brightly coloured, durable plastic and are “hand luggage approved”.Trunki’s let toddlers participate in the travelling experience in a practical, safe and fun manner – there are soft rubber rims to prevent little fingers from being caught and a wide, stable wheel base to ensure safe riding around airport terminals.
Aimed at children aged three and above, Trunki’s design enables youngsters to sit on the case, ride on it or be pulled along when tiredness sets in. A shoulder strap allows adults to easily carry Trunki when required. When not zooming around the airport terminal, Terrance and Trixie can generously accommodate favourite toys and games in order to keep their owner amused for the entire journey.
Trunki is available in child size (3-6 year olds) and at only £24.99 is the ultimate kiddies’ travel companion. Available at Amazon.co.uk.
In the US it is available from Amazon.com
