Kwanzaa is a week-long celebration which honors African heritage in African-American culture. It is celebrated from December 26 to January 1, culminating in a feast and gift-giving. The celebration was created in 1966 and whilst it is mainly celebrated in the US, it is also celebrated in many other countries around the world.
