If you and your kids are movie fans you will all be looking forward to the latest selection of family DVD, Blu-ray and download releases this September and October.
In Cinemas Now: The Latest Family Movies - what's on at the moment!
As usual there there are lots of DVDs due for release, including Avengers: Infinity War, Solo and Monster Family.
So as the nights draw in, let's gather on the sofa and watch some great new movies!

Avengers: Infinity War (12A) is the next instalment in an unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe - the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
Starring too many big name stars to list, the film comes out on DVD on 3rd September 2018.
Released on 10th September is Mary And The Witch's Flower, (PG) a Japanese film based on the best-selling British children's book The Little Broomstick by Mary Stewart. An all-ages fantasy adventure, it features ingenious characters in a heartfelt story of a young girl trying to figure her place in the world.
While spending the last weeks of summer with her Great-Aunt Charlotte in the countryside, Mary follows a mysterious cat into the nearby woods. There she stumbles upon a flower that has magical powers and transforms a little broomstick into one that flies. Mary is whisked away, high above the clouds, and transported to Endor College – a school of magic!

A Wizard’s Tale (U) is an animation that was released exclusively in Vue cinemas last Easter. It is set in a world where happiness, smiling and laughter are a thing of the past; where an evil wizard presides over all that is good in the land.
Join Terry on his magical quest to restore happines, as he outwits a multitude of weird and wonderful creatures and finds friendship with a Princess along the way.
Out on 10th September 2018, it features the voices of Ian McShane, Lily Collins and Toby Kebbell.
September 24th sees the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story (12A) the much anticipated Star Wars spin-off with Han Solo’s back-story.
Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future co-pilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga's most unlikely heroes.
Starring Alden Ehrenreich, Clint Howard, Donald Glover, Emilia Clarke, Paul Bettany, Thandie Newton, Warwick Davis and Woody Harrelson.
The 22nd October sees the DVD release of Monster Family (PG). After a go to a family to a costume party on Halloween night, they are cursed by an evil witch and transformed into a Vampire, a Mummy, a Werewolf, and Frankenstein’s monster. Now Mum Emma will fight to keep her Monster Family together and uncover the secret of their curse… eventually leading them to the Prince of Darkness himself, Dracula!
The film features the voices of Emily Watson, Jason Issacs, Nick Frost, Celia Imrie and Catherine Tate.
Show Dogs (PG) is set in a world where humans and sentient dogs co-exist, a macho but lonely Rottweiler police dog named Max is ordered to go undercover as a primped show dog in a prestigious dog show with his human partner Frank to scupper a ring of animal smugglers.
Released on Ist October, Show Dogs stars Will Arnett, Natasha Lyonne and Jordin Sparks with the voices of Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Gabriel Iglesias, Shaquille O'Neal and Stanley Tucci.
In Teen Titans Go! To the Movies (PG), it seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies - everyone but the Teen Titans, that is. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream.
But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously super villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, the team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing - putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line.
With the voices of Will Arnett, Kristen Bell, Greg Cipes and Scott Menville, it is scheduled for release on 30th October 2018 - but that is still to be confirmed.
