Kids New DVD Releases November - December 2019
There are some fantastic kids and family movies on release in the lead up to Christmas 2019!
All of the late summer and early autumn's biggest movies will be out on DVD, including Spiderman: Far From Home, Playmobil: The Movie and more. Spider-Man: Far From Home
Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home (Cert 12), the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series, which will be released on DVD on 11th November. Our friendly neighbourhood Superhero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation.
However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent.
Starring Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson and Zendaya.
The Lion King
The spate of live action re-makes of classic Disney animations continues with The Lion King (Cert PG) which opens on 18th November. You probably know the story; Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub's arrival. Scar, Mufasa's brother, and former heir to the throne, has plans of his own. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his.
The all-star cast includes Donald Glover as Simba, Beyonce Knowles-Carter as Nala, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and Billy Eichner as Timon.
Playmobil: The Movie
Following on from LEGO’s series of movies based on toys comes Playmobil: The Movie (Cert U) which is out on 2nd December on DVD & Blu-ray.
When her younger brother Charlie suddenly disappears into the magical, animated universe of PLAYMOBIL, Marla embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to bring him home. Setting off on an incredible journey through new and exciting themed worlds, Marla teams up with various strange and heroic companions, including Del, a crazed food truck driver, Rex Dasher, a suave and fearless secret agent as well as a loyal and endearing robot, a hilarious fairy-godmother and many others!
With the voices of Daniel Radcliffe, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jim Gaffigan, Gabriel Bateman and Adam Lambert.
