As the next school holiday approaches you may be trying to think of things to do in May Half Term. If you and your kids are movie fans you will all be looking forward to the latest crop of family DVD, Blu-ray and download releases.
As usual there there are lots of DVDs due for release, including Lego Movie 2, How To Train Your Dragon 3 and The Kid Who Would Be King.
So gather on the sofa and watch some great new movies!

Out on DVD on 13th May is the latest Transformers movie, Bumblebee (PG) On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie is on the cusp of turning 18 and is trying to find her place in the world. She discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
Starring Glynn Turman, Hailee Steinfeld, Jason Drucker, John Cena, John Ortiz, Jorge Lendeborg Jr and Kenneth Choi, it will be out in 2D and 3D.
After the smash - hit success of The Lego Movie in 2017, comes The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part (U), out on 3rd June 2019.

The 3rd June 2019 also sees the release of The Kid Who Would Be King (PG) on DVD, Blu-ray and for download.
Alex is a young boy who is picked on at school and does not appear to be very special at all. However, that soon changes when he finds and pulls King Arthur's famous sword Excalibur from the stone.
He discovers that he is destined to form a new round table for an upcoming battle with the medieval villain Morgana, who summons evil forces to rule the world. Fortunately, the wizard Merlin – who transforms himself into a boy to blend in at Alex’s school - assists him in his quest.
The film stars Louis Ashbourne Serkis, Tom Taylor, Rebecca Ferguson, and Patrick Stewart.
Fans of classic movies will have the chance to introduce their kids to one of the most enduringly popular comedy duos of all time – Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy – in Stan & Ollie (PG), which is out on 3rd June.

June 3rd sees the release of A Dog’s Way Home (PG). Written by the author of 2017’s A Dog’s Purpose, A Dog’s Way Home is the heart-warming story of a dog named Bella who travels hundreds of miles to be reunited with her owner Lucas, who is an aspiring medical student.
With the voice of Bryce Dallas Howard and starring Edward James Olmos, Alexandra Shipp and Ashley Judd.
