Kids New DVD Releases March - April 2020
There are some fantastic kids and family movies on release this new year and in the lead up to the Easter 2020!
All last Christmas' biggest movies will be out on DVD, including and more. So if you are looking for something for your family movie night or for a rainy afternoon, here are the best movies coming out on DVD, Blu ray and to watch at home this Easter.

The Addams Family
The Addams Family (PG), is an animated movie version of the popular 1960’s TV series which was made into a hit movie in 1991. The Addams family's lives begin to unravel when they move to New Jersey and face-off against the 21st century and a greedy, arrogant and sly reality TV host Margaux Needler - while also preparing for their extended family to arrive for a major celebration.
Out on 2nd March, the film features the voices of Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz, Finn Wolfhard, Nick Kroll, Snoop Dogg, Bette Midler and Allison Janney.
Trolls World Tour
In Trolls World Tour (U) Poppy and Branch discover that they are but one of six different Troll tribes scattered over six different lands and devoted to six different kinds of music: Funk, Country, Techno, Classical, Pop and Rock. Their world is about to get a lot bigger and a whole lot louder.
A member of hard-rock royalty, Queen Barb, aided by her father King Thrash, wants to destroy all other kinds of music to let rock reign supreme. With the voices of Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, James Corden and rock legend Ozzy Osbourne.
The movie is available to stream right now, with the DVD and Blu-ray release date unconfirmed at time of writing.
Frozen 2
The sequel to Disney’s blockbuster Frozen movie is released on 30th March on DVD, Blu-ray or to download.
In Frozen 2 (U) Elsa wants to know why she was born with magical powers. The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she sets out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough.
With the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad.
The Aeronauts
The Aeronauts (PG) starring Felicity Jones, Eddie Redmayne, Himesh Patel, Anne Reid, Tim McInnerny and Phoebe Fox is available to watch on Amazon Prime.
In 1862, daredevil balloon pilot Amelia Wren teams up with pioneering meteorologist James Glaisher to advance human knowledge of the weather and fly higher than anyone in history. While breaking records and advancing scientific discovery, their voyage to the very edge of existence helps the unlikely pair find their place in the world they have left far below them.
But they face physical and emotional challenges in the thin air, as the ascent becomes a fight for survival.
Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker
The 20th April sees the release on DVD of Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker (12), the ninth and final part of the Star Wars story.
The surviving Resistance faces the First Order once more as Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron's journey continues. With the power and knowledge of generations behind them, the final battle commences.
Starring Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Kelly Marie Tran and of course includes Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill and Anthony Daniels who has played C-3PO in every single Star Wars movie, the only actor to appear in every film.
Jumanji: The Next Level
In Jumanji: The Next Level (12), the gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own, they discover that nothing is as they expect. The players will have to brave parts unknown and unexplored, from the arid deserts to the snowy mountains, in order to escape the world's most dangerous game
This sequel to 2017’s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is out on 4th April on Amazon Prime and sees the return of stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan as the avatars of four mismatched high school kids.
Spies in Disguise
Super spy Lance Sterling and scientist Walter Beckett are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave and debonair. Walter is… not. But what Walter lacks in social skills he makes up for in smarts and invention, creating the awesome gadgets Lance uses on his epic missions.
But when events take an unexpected turn, Walter and Lance suddenly have to rely on each other in a whole new way. And if this odd couple can’t learn to work as a team, the whole world is in peril.
Spies in Disguise is released on 27th April 2020, and features the voices of Will Smith and Tom Holland.
