As the next school holiday approaches you may be trying to think of things to do in the Easter holidays. If you and your kids are movie fans you will all be looking forward to the latest crop of family DVD, Blu-ray and download releases.
As usual there there are lots of DVDs due for release, including everyone's favourite Peruvian bear, a brave and inspirational elementary schooler and more superheroes than you can shake a stick at - just in time to watch on a cold, wet and miserable school holiday!
So gather on the sofa and watch some great new movies!

Christmas 2017's big movie, Paddington 2 (PG), is out on DVD on 12th Mar. Paddington, having settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, has become popular in his community. He sees a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber's antique shop and buys it as a present for his aunt Lucy's 100th birthday. When the book is stolen, it is up to him and the Browns to apprehend the thief.
Ben Wishaw voices Paddington again, and the film also stars Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Hugh Grant, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi, Madeleine Harris and Samuel Joslin.

The 26th March sees the release of Wonder (PG).
Based on the New York Times bestselling book by R. J. Palacio, WONDER tells the incredibly inspiring and heart-warming story of August Pullman, a boy with facial differences who enters fifth grade, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time.
Here he suffers bullying due to his looks, but strives to teach others that beauty is not just on the outside. The film stars Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson, Mandy Patinkin, Jacob Tremblay and Crystal Lowe.
Justice League (12A) was the big superhero movie for Christmas 2017 and it is also out on DVD on 26th March. Fuelled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.
The film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, and J. K. Simmons.

The second of the Star Wars sequel trilogy will be out on DVD on 9th April. Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, and Gwendoline Christie all return in their roles from The Force Awakens.

Set in Spain, Ferdinand proves you can’t judge a bull by its cover. With the voices of David Tennant, Kate McKinnon, Bobby Canavale, David Diggs and Miguel Angel Silvestre. The DVD is out on 16th April 2018.
In Pitch Perfect 3 (12A) now out of college, the Bardon Bellas are trying to make their way in the world, until an opportunity to perform on an overseas USO tour brings the a cappella team together, one last time.
Released on DVD on 23rd April, Anna Kendrick, Anna Camp, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow and Hailee Steinfeld all return to their roles for this third and final Pitch Perfect movie.
This new version of Jumanji is an updated-for-the-21st-century reboot of the original movie which starred Robin Williams. It is released on DVD on 30th April.
Jumanji has evolved from a board game into a computer game - Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle - and four high school kids are sucked into the game they become their avatars inside the game and the only way out is to play along and finish it. The movie stars Dr. Who's Karen Gillan, along with Dwayne Johnson, Missi Pyle, Bobby Canavale and Jack Black.
