Kids New DVD Releases July - August 2019
The long summer school holidays are upon us, so how are you going to keep the kids occupied for all those weeks?! If you and your kids are movie fans you may be planning a family movie afternoon, so if you are looking forward to the latest crop of family DVD, Blu-ray and download releases, here's what is coming up for the summer.

Captain Marvel
Set in the 1990s, Captain Marvel (12) is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Universe. It follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the centre of the maelstrom.
Out on DVD on 15th July, it stars Annette Bening, Ben Mendelsohn, Brie Larson, Jude Law and Samuel L. Jackson.
Dumbo
Fans of the original Dumbo (PG) may be in for a surprise when they see visionary director Tim Burton’s take on this classic Disney animation. It is an all-new grand live-action adventure which expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight, which is out to buy on 29th July 2019.
Circus owner Max Medici enlists former star Holt Farrier and his children to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughing stock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback. Dumbo is recruited for larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland, but beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.

Missing Link
Sir Lionel Frost is a brave and dashing adventurer who considers himself to be the world's foremost investigator of myths and monsters. The trouble is, no one else seems to agree. He sees a chance to prove himself by traveling to America's Pacific Northwest to discover the world's most legendary creature, the Missing Link (PG), which is out on DVD, Blu-ray and to download on released on 5th August 2019.
Mr. Link is the slightly silly, surprisingly smart and soulful beast who Sir Lionel discovers. As species go, he's as endangered as they get; he's possibly the last of his kind, he's lonely, and he believes that Sir Lionel is the one man alive who can help him. Together they set out on a daring quest around the world to seek out Link's distant relatives in the fabled valley of Shangri-La.

Wonder Park
Wonder Park (PG), out on 19th August 2019, is the story of June, a super-imaginative girl, who enjoys spending her free time thinking up amazing worlds with her mum. Her masterpiece is the fantastical and brilliant Wonderland, a theme park where anything is possible.
After discovering that Wonderland and all its inhabitants are in fact a reality, June must rediscover her childlike wonder and team up with her animal friends to stop the park from being destroyed by the Chimpanzombies.
Indulge in your imagination with this feel-good animation featuring the voices of Brianna Denski, Jennifer Garner and Mila Kunis.
