Kids New DVD Releases in January and February 2019
There are some fantastic kids and family movies on release early in 2019.
All the autumn's biggest movies will be out on DVD, including the third outing for Johnny English and the fantastical The House With A Clock In Its Walls. So if you are looking for a family movie to enjoy in those dull grey days of January and February or to keep the kids occupied during February Half Term, here are the best movies coming out on DVD, Blu-ray and to download.

The House With A Clock In Its Walls
After losing his parents, Lewis Barnavelt is sent to Michigan to live with his uncle Jonathan. He discovers his uncle is a warlock, and enters a world of magic and sorcery.
In The House With A Clock In Its Walls (12A), Lewis learns of Isaac Izard, an evil wizard who wanted to cause the Apocalypse so that he could see what happened afterwards. To do this, he constructed a magical clock with black magic, as long as it exists it will keep ticking, counting down to doomsday. Isaac died before he could finish the clock having hid the clock in his house, where Uncle Jonathan now lives. Now Lewis and Jonathan must find the clock before it's too late, and before Isaac's wife, Selena, gets to it.
Ont on DVD on 28th January it is based on the book by John Bellairs and stars Cate Blanchett, Jack Black and Owen Vaccaro.
Johnny English Strikes Again
There will be fun for all the family as the bumbling secret agent returns in Johnny English Strikes Again (PG) which is available digitally on 6th January and released on DVD on 22nd January.
When a cyber-attack reveals the identity of all active undercover agents in Britain, leaving Johnny English as the secret service’s last hope. Called out of retirement, English dives head first into action with the mission to find the mastermind hacker.
As a man with few skills and analogue methods, Johnny English must overcome the challenges of modern technology to make this mission a success. Rowan Atkinson once again is Johnny English with sidekick Bough played by Ben Miller.
Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween
Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween (PG) is the second film to be based on the Goosebumps books by R. L. Stine and is the sequel to 2016’s Goosebumps which starred Jack Black.
On Halloween night, two boys discover an old R. L. Stine manuscript in an abandoned house, unknowingly freeing Slappy the Dummy, the living ventriloquist dummy from Stine’s Night of the Living Dummy books, who plans to cause an apocalypse with his monster friends. As Slappy begins to gather his allies, it's up to the boys to prevent the destruction of the world.
Released on DVD on 18th February the film stars Ben O'Brien, Caleel Harris, Madison Iseman, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ken Jeong.
Smallfoot
Also released on 18th February 2019 is this animated adventure for all ages, with original music and an all-star cast. Smallfoot (PG) turns the Bigfoot legend upside down when a bright young Yeti finds something he thought didn't exist-a human.
News of this "smallfoot" throws the simple Yeti community into an uproar over what else might be out there in the big world beyond their snowy village, in an all new story about friendship, courage and the joy of discovery.

Pokémon The Movie: The Power of Us
Pokémon The Movie: The Power of Us (PG) was an event cinema only release however it is now out to own on DVD from 18th February 2019.
Once a year, a "wind festival" is held in Fura City. While they're participating in the festival, Ash and Pikachu meets five companions, each of whom have their own worries and are unable to take a step forward together with their partner Pokémon. But when they meet each other, the cogs of destiny start turning......
