Earth Day is an annual event which in is held on 22nd April each year.
The aim of Earth Day is to raise awareness of the environmental issues which face the planet Earth. First held on April 22nd 1970, it has been held each year since then and events are held worldwide to achieve the aim of environmental awareness.
