  2. Annamaria is made up of the names Ann or Anna and Mary or Maria.

  3. Louella
  4. Louella can be made up from the names Louise and Ella. The best known Louella is Louella Parsons (1881–1972), who was the first American movie columnist.

  5. Melinda
  6. Created by joining Mellisa or Melanie and Linda. The most famous Melindas are British glamour model Melinda Messenger, and Melinda Gates, American businesswoman and wife of Microsoft's Bill Gates.

  7. Meryl
  8. Mary and Louise put together will make Meryl, most famous of which is actress Meryl Streep, who was born Mary Louise Streep.

  9. Malloren
  10. Put together Mallory and Loren and you get Malloren, but you may not want to - it means "laurel of bad luck".

  11. Marlene
  12. Maria and Lene combine to make Marlene, the most famous of which is German singer and actress Marlene Dietrich (1901-1992).

  13. Marilyn
  14. Mary and Lynn make up Marilyn, a hugly popular name in the 1950's and 1960's as children were named after actress Marilyn Monroe (1926 - 1962). Born Norma Jean Baker she was renamed Marilyn as a young starlet by her studio.
