28th November 2006
A recent survey on leading family travel website takethefamily.com voted Barcelona the top destination to take the kids for a city break in a poll of over 800 parents.
Barcelona, which polled 23%, has wonderful human statues along Las Ramblas, surreal Gaudi architecture, award-winning aquarium, great zoo, cable cars and Parc Guell. Plus the city is just a short train journey to the beach resort of Sitges, which is well equipped for kids.
