Activity Holidays in The Pyrénées and The Ardéche
Those looking for an action-packed break, should check out two of Keycamp's latest parcs - Les Ranchisses at Largentière in the Ardéche and Camping Pyrénées at Luz St Sauveur near Lourdes, which both offer couples and families a feast of sports, activities and breathtaking scenery - the perfect antidote to the 'fly and flop' holiday.
While there are plenty of options for relaxation - with the parcs both offering superb pool complexes and a well-being centre with hammam, sauna and jacuzzi, it's a real challenge not to be hit by the fitness bug as soon as you arrive.
A Breath of Fresh Air in the Pyrénées
Set in the midst of the Pyrénées, Camping Pyrénées at Luz St Sauveur stunning parc is the perfect base from which to explore the mountains. Whether it's hiking, biking or canoeing that gets your vote, there's enough trails and passes for you to more than soak up the scenery, while rock climbing, white water rafting and abseiling are all within easy reach. On top of that, the parc offers you the chance to try your hand at canyoning (white water rafting without the raft to the uninitiated!).
When something a little more sedate is called for, the pretty mountain village of Luz St Sauveur is close at hand, while Lourdes, the most famous of Christian pilgrimage destinations, is within easy day trip distance.

Meanwhile, there's plenty to explore locally by foot, bike or canoe.
