Pushchairs, Buggies and Strollers

If you are having a baby you will need to get around with it! A pushchair, buggy or stroller is a must for getting out and about with your baby. There are several types.

An old-fashioned coach built pram, the best known of which is Silver Cross. No longer widely used, they are sturdily built to last.
A pushchair or buggy (the terms tend to be used interchangably) will be suitable from birth and may be 2 in 1 (converting from pram into a buggy) or 3 in 1 (converting from pram to pushchair and incorporating perhaps a car seat or carry cot) sometimes called a travel system.
A stroller usually describes a lighter weight collapsible pushchair, suitable for a child who is walking, but still need to be pushed sometimes.
If you have twins or two children who both still need a pushchair, you may want a twin, tandem or duo buggy. Some models allow you fix together two pushchairs so that they can also be used separately.
Three wheeler or all terrain pushchairs are designed for rough terrain and/or jogging, while also being suitable for urban use too.
