Lego Indiana Jones

The much anticipated fourth Indiana Jones film, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, is due to be released on 22nd May 2008. Starring Harrison Ford as Indy (but sadly no Sean Connery) it is the first Indiana Jones film to be released since 1989.

To coincide with the film release is a new game from Lucasarts called Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. In the game you play as Indiana Jones taking on adventures from all of the first three Indiana Jones Movies, including the iconic scene where he is chased by a giant boulder - made of legobricks!

The game will be available for PSP, Wii, PS2, PS3, Nintendo DS, PC and XBOX360, is due to be released on 6th June 2008, and is already available to pre-order at Amazon.co.uk, Gameseek and Play.com.

There are also a number of Lego playsets available already, which feature Indiana Jones figures and vehicles. In particular there is a set called Temple Escape shown here which includes Indiana Jones with whip, hat and shoulder bag, Dr. René Belloq, Jock the Pilot, a Golden idol and what else but a rolling boulder?!
