New Desks And Pinboards Make Homework Less Of A Chore!

Childrens Furniture Company Milkshake Desk

The Childrens Furniture Company have just introduced a stunning desk to complement their Milkshake range. From colouring-in and writing in their diary's to homework and playing on their computers, this desk will take them from their tots to teenage years. To match there is a pinboard / chalkboard where they can pin up the pictures that are special to them or keep reminders of what they have to do.

Childrens Furniture Company Milkshake Pinboard

The Children’s Furniture Company was set up in 2002 by entrepreneur Sarah Codrington, at a time when there were very few companies offering quality furniture designed especially for children.

The Children's Furniture Company is the only children’s furniture maker to receive an award from The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers for their quality. The highly-prized ‘Company Guildmark’ Sarah received for excellence in design and manufacture is not awarded very often, and it is an unparalleled accolade from seasoned professionals within the field.

Their furniture isn't furniture in miniature, but full-size pieces with playful accents which can be adapted to appeal from childhood into teens. So as the children get older, bunks can be debunked and safety rails removed; engraved panels can be swapped for plain ones, and brightly-coloured panels flipped to reveal more muted tones. All their pieces are made for the long term.

They have also introduced a Milkshake Cabin Bed to the range; a fantastic bed for a little girl or boy to sleep and play on.

Kids Fashion Can Be Ethical Too
Fashion can be a dirty business; Seven tablespoons of chemicals are used to grow enough cotton to make just one t-shirt. Conventional cotton represents 3% of the world’s crops, yet uses 25% of all insecticides and 10% of all pesticides. But it doesn't have to be this way.
