The website is cleanly designed, extremely easy to navigate. Other sections include tricks of the trade - video techniques - glossary and a forum is planned for inclusion on the site within the next few weeks. The website also features an advice section called ‘Ask the Ark’ where members can submit questions and receive a response from a team of crafting experts.

Lynne believes that the website will be of interest to crafters, especially those who practice more than one type of craft;

“We launched The Craft Ark because there was a gap in the market for a website which provided inspirational projects for crafters without pressurizing them to buy product at the same time. There is a huge crafting community worldwide, many of whom buy crafting materials at craft shows, order on-line or via mail order but often don’t know where to start, especially if they are a beginner.”

“The Craft Ark takes you through a simple step-by-step approach to each project, and provides a complete list of materials required.  For the more advanced crafter we’ve included more challenging projects covering a range of disciplines and introduced more complicated techniques so there is something for everyone.”

The instructions for the projects shown here are all available to The Craft Ark's members. To find out more or to register visit www.thecraftark.com
