Cinnamon Toast

This classic recipe makes for a quick and simple snack. Absolutly delicious and loved by kids and grown-ups alike.

Cinnamon Toast

Makes: 3 slices

3 thick slices white bread
50g (2oz) Country Life Spreadable English butter
30ml (2tbsp) caster sugar
5ml (1tsp) ground cinnamon

  1. Place the butter, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and mix together.
  2. Toast one side of the bread under a preheated moderate grill, turn over, and then spread with the butter mixture. Place under the grill for a further 2-3 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  3. Serve immediately in slices, with some berries.
