Easter egg hunts are a perennial favourite. For young children the eggs can simply be hidden for them to find. Older children can be given cryptic clues to follow such as "where can you see places far away, songs and stories every day" (the television), "this place gets very hot, and inside mummy cooks a lot" (the cooker). You can find Easter Egg Hunt Kits at Yellow Moon.

Easter Nests. Make Cornflake or Rice Crispie nests and add Mini-eggs or other small chocolate eggs. Get a recipe for Cornflake cakes if you don't have a favourite from Good Food Channel.
One Easter at school I remember making chicks from desiccated coconut and dying them yellow with food colouring. I have a feeling that we used raw egg white to bind the coconut together! I would not recommend this now. You could try using condensed milk to bind the coconut, adding it slowly until you get a consistency which you can shape. Make a big body and a smaller head and use jelly shapes for eyes and the beak.
There are lots of nice Easter recipes at Razzle Dazzle Recipes, Kaboose and Hookery Cookery have recipes for the whole of your Easter menu, from roast dinners, side dishes and the all important desserts.
